Rick Deckard Blade Runner 1982 - Soup to Nuts!

Indeed!! Now, if you can walk in the rain for a few days, that coat will have the right used look! Also about the belt: good luck finding the right one...difficult to get:(
Ohh are the belts known? I haven't been able to find much info on them at all.

Best pic I have ever been able to get of the belt.

On Propsummit, the costume has been investigated years ago and some of the publicity shots of Deckard in the Bradbury Building have very clear shots of the belt. ;)

oh wow! thank you! I have never seen this photo at this res before. Makes me more confident in the trouser material i picked for my gray set as well (though I will be resewing those as well.)
Nope, not that one...Bradbury one;)

This is the fabric I chose for the grey trousers - can't find too much info on em. Only the auction photos and what is on Magnolis site (which appear to be the auction photo)

I know I posted the pic with the orange trousers and the earlier shirt, but I haven't completed my "Roy Batty Battle" shirt yet. Seems the orange trousers are seen at the beginning with the purple striped paisley shirt, and the end.

I have been checking prop summit, but sadly most of the photo links on that site are dead. =/

Egon, what is your reference photo wish list? Maybe we can help fill any gaps.
That would be greatly appreciated! So far, I have pretty good reference for the shirts, blazer (now that I know which one was the production used one and which was the concept blazer) the trench, orange trousers, grey trousers, shoes, holster, etc.

Really the thing that is sticky is the belt(s).

Ordering up both the front face and darker "back" of the other shirt to pair with my orange trousers. This shirt may be one I end up adding to my Etsy shop as it requires less top stitching and is more unique than the more notable shirt.
It does appear to have a very simple bias placket for the opening on the cuff (coincidentally the same as all the Raiders shirts Harrison Ford wore - differing them from the other indy shirts) but this is not very strong. So I will most likely do a traditional placket.

Gave the second mock up a two hour coffee bath and tumble dry to dull the color and get the "puckering" seen in the film.

Are you going to put small weights at the bottom of the coat to make it "fall" better? I always do that with that kind of fabric; the corners tend to curl up and it drives me nuts;)

Great stuff mate! Love the research/work you`ve put into this project...not for the faint of heart. That said: here`s the pic of Deckard in the Bradbury. As you can see, different belt. Now, I'm sure that, as he have many shirts and tie, he also has different belts ;) You'll have to select the one that's the least difficult to get/repro

Thank you! It has been a really long project between Mark and I (though he has years into Blade Runner obsession!) I may opt for that belt pictured first. I dig the lighter edge on it, and it is something I can tackle without having to do a ton of embossing.
