Hey guys, so I'm making a mannequin head to do various masks/ busts in the future and I was wondering if anyone knows if Silicone will still cure when exposed to latex, I've heard that sometimes it doesn't but I just want to make sure before I fall out with my plan.

Platinum silicone is inhibited by latex. Tin silicone is not.

Yeah, platcure is a bit of a diva in terms of it's wide variety of inhibitors as compared to tincure. Tincure is also not skin safe I believe. Just uh. Be careful. I don't know about leaching from the tincure into other masks, but anything thats gonna be on the silicone for a long while, I'd recommend platinum cure.
