Well, at least Revell is offering something new unlike Bandai. The A-Wing should be easy to convert into an RMQ concept A-Wing which makes it pretty interesting for me. The TIE looks good, and the Walker... Hummmmm... It is a mecha Gorilla. Not necessarily "Star Wars" (like all the new designs from the new trilogy). However, the head resembles a Cylon, so it is on my list.

I'm just sayin', there better be a damn good in-universe reason for an AT-AT to be walking on it's "knuckles" or for there to be "knuckles" in the first place. But it's the head that does it for me. Swap the monkey head with a standard AT-AT and this might -- might -- look cool.

My guess is that the front arms bend down so the gun on top can point down. The gun itself can't point down much because the head gets in the way so the whole body needs to slope down.

Republic Gunship reissue 1/72 (reissue) - hell yes. This is actually the one I am looking forward to the most. Prices on E-Bay Amazon etc.... have gotten insane

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it says 1/172, which means that it's the tiny Pocket Kit. I doubt it's a typo either because the product details lists it at 100mm.

I'm liking the design of the A-wing & particularly Kylo's fighter.

But,

The walker's modified feet are pointing inward, and ironically make it seem like the head was stuck on the wrong end. I guess I may need to buy one just to fix it.

That sucks. At least I have one of the larger 1/72 kit. I was hoping to get another to convert it into the AT-TE carrier

Yeah, I think I'm much happier with the toy. Gave it a wash and some extra weathering, and it looks great.

Apart from the McQuarrie styled A-Wing I'm really not liking these designs anyway, ignoring the terrible job Revell has done here. Kylo Ren's TIE just looks terrible, like something from the extended universe crap from the late 90s.

I absolutely agree. A very lazy uninspiring cop out design.
It belongs in the same class of gawd awful designs like some of the **** they came up with in the prequels...or that heinous cluster**** of a design, the Virago from the EU back in the 90s.
