Looks great! How did you do the dome lid? I've been on the lookout for one of the original barrels but they appear to be pretty rare now. I remember seeing some in the first Phantasm as well.

Lol. Thanks.
I think many years ago, there was a latex version of the Trioxin barrel zombie sculpted by someone, with the hands. Can't recall who it was that made it, but I'll fathom a guess that it was Monte Ward. Was cool seeing some 1:1 barrels. Yours looks absolutely awesome man!

It's crazy how back in the day, all these screen used props were sold on the back of Fangoria magazines. A person I know, bought the half zombie woman and split dog when it was sold on the Fangoria magazine back pages. Broke my heart to see he sold both of them a few years ago over Facebook, as I had asked him to let me know if he would ever sell them.

Still gutted.

Dave.. I'm still gutted.

Wow, I feel for you.

Looks like the Half lady is being taken care of though….

Ah it's 50% joking. Dave was a nice guy in my past dealings, absolute dream to do buying from, so if I had known, I'd have bidded it up as I really wanted the pieces. Just wasn't on FB at the time. Good decent guy, and only wanted a good home for the pieces he had. And well Half Lady seems to have found a good home, especially with it being given a light touch from Tom Spina.

He's also the guy that has the animatronic Gypsy lady from Drag Me to Hell, which I hope he still has!. The guy's collection was amazing, and pretty much under the radar as a collector, and having been around for so long. I think Gunnar Hansen thanks him in his book as he had some TCM stuff too.

I'll be honest, first time buying from him was like a fun interview, knowing that what he had would go to a good home. And he was well aware of X people who weren't the nice ones, and with intentions of flipping. He wanted his stuff to end up in a well-loved home.
