I wanted to show off my Light Saber Hilt. I had several people interesed in learning how to use a metal lathe. So I taught a class and had them all machine the parts to make this light saber hilt. It is pretty close to screen accurate, but not quite perfect. Maybe one day I will try and make it even better. But they all seemed to have a great time making them and they learned how to run the metal lathe too.
