In my anticipation to receive my GMH, Fett helmet , I decided to make a replica of the GMH in it first form , with the tape mark and the ruff casting tell tales ,
I personally really like the look of the it ,
So I set about doing this then changed my mind and thought id make a helmet that looked as if it had come from the same mold, with the tear in the sillicon in even worse stated, and a longer piece of tape holding it togther
I still need to clean up a couple of details , like the micro switch and the clay in the slots
To make the helmet I used one of my own fan mad F G casting, and mad some modifications ,
I had to cut the ears of mine and reshape the platforms , which the ears sit on as the ones on my helmet were about 1 or 2 ml to thick to match the helmet I was trying to emulate , I did some work on thew ears them self and to the helmet it self , and of cause I had to hack saw the cut line down the back of the helmet the re-fiber glass it back together and try to create the tape mark look , which was the hardest part ,
Cheers
