Reference photos for Han Solo ANH blaster

I recall there are some decent ones in the Chronicles book. If you don't have it, GET IT. It's a must have for any fan of Star Wars props and models. Looks like it's still available on Amazon.com.

I can't believe I forgot about that book. I haven't looked at it for a while since it is on the very top shelf (I have three young kids who love books ;) ). I'll give it a look--thanks

Here is what I have.

Why is it that there are no fins on the front of these pictures? I think this is the first time I have seen this plain fronted blaster

Montagar,

Did you pull the pics you had posted earlier? I am not able to see any of them in this thread. I've got the Chronicles book but it sounded like what you posted may be different.

Thanks,

Ted.

I am not exactly sure where this pic is originally from. I have a hard drive folder full of Star Wars props pics that have been collected over the years. I am sure that a number of members here know the story behind those two pics, so maybe someone will chime in.

The pictures have not been pulled. The reason that you can't see the pics is because my server checks to see what the referring web site is attempting to view the them, and if you have security software running that blocks the HTTP_REFERER variable it will fail to load the pics. There is a setting in most of those programs to enable HTTP_REFERER to be sent.

The photos of the Hero blaster above are pre-production, so the grill is missing.

That is what I thought but I was hesitant to say so because I didn't what to give incorrect info. Thanks for the verification. :thumbsup
