I was showing off the replicas to my mom earlier today, and she is thinking of getting one of the spear replicas that they sell on ebay.

There are 2 main sellers, and the price diff is about 100$ between the 2. So far I can tell one has a case, and one does not.

Does anyone own the reelart version, and is it good for the money?

Thanks!
Chris

I don't personally own one, but there was a review of ReelArt's version a while back on Club Obi-Wan. If they haven't done any significant changes to it, then my memory tells me that it's rubbish, like most of their other items.

There are other versions out there; off the top of my mind, I believe that Indy Magnoli still makes one, along with Bronze Armory (which I think is the other dealer on eBay).

I've seen it and it is a little overpriced for the work you have to do to make it more authentic. Still a cheaper option and with some elbow grease it can look good.

I picked one up from Magnoli...I think it's a bronze armoury version. As it comes with a case and cover.........That's nice. All metal. He did make some nice ones himself at one time. Ask him about your options. He always gives top notch advice....

If your mom is not a member here, I think it'll pass.

If your mom is a member here, she'll agree it's complete crap.

I've never seen a Spear of Destiny replica that I liked, so I made my own version. Even my first one I wasn't too happy with, so I reworked it (took almost two years), but I've finally happy with the result:

Unfortunatley, these are expensive to make and VERY time intensive.

Kind regards,
Indy
