Red Hood and the Outlaws

Thanks Vox! I can't wait either. I've been working group on it for a while. I'm so glad to get it done and I'm very pleased with the results. I also added detail lines in the back to make it look like armor like the rest of the helmet.

The lines are based off the toy that was released.

Thanks Bandiet! Yeah I know. I can't wait to paint it red, make the eye sockets and lines black then add the white mesh eyes. This will definitely be complete this week!

I need to find a decent/cheap brown jacket to go with this that I can add the red fabric pieces to the zipper sleeves. I have been looking but I can't find any if anyone knows of one let me know. I will also be doing a whole upper body shirt with armor piece in foam like the comics and action figure.

Here's a little update. I finished painting my helmet. I need to ad some padding and a hinge system for the back piece. I also need to find some good lenses for the eye. I put paper in the eyes to show what the mask would look with white lenses so any help finding some decent alternatives for lenses would be greatly appreciated!

Looks awesome, man! I dig the lines that give it dimension.

For the lenses, I went to a convenience store and bought a cheap pair of sunglasses with narrow/small lenses, popped out the lenses, then cut white perforated vinyl (purchased from TJack) and pasted it on the lenses. Finally, I just hot-glued the lenses to the inside of the helmet.

Thanks Vox! I just ordered some cheap mirror sunglasses. The lense look a little silver but still have that white look to them. I'm going to cut them out and hot glue them in to see what it looks like.

Ho-ho-hooooooly heck this is awesome. Hope you find something rad for the lenses! I made a Red Hood helmet (based on Red Hood + Arsenal) from EVA and the best I came up with for eyes was taking the lenses from some cheap silver aviators, which look cool... but your build is some next level stuff

Thanks! I think I found a decent sun glass lenses that is almost a white silver. I think it will look pretty cool. I'm waiting to receive them and I will install them. I will post pics of the new lenses when I get them installed to see what people think.
