Recast Alert

heck, I'd like to be PMed as well.

Your accusations of the mods are entirely baseless, and I'm a fan of fiction, so. . .

PM'ed  I won't out people in public, like I said before.

And I am now done with this thread.  If people want my opinion, PM me.

I keep forgetting the RPF is viewable by the public -
I normally won't post on public boards for those same reasons.

I'd like to publically apologize to the mods, as the member (who's name I did not post but that I used in a very poor example of why not to publically name prop makers) is no longer a mod here.

Moderators have a hard enough time keeping the peace in issues like this, and it was never my intent to put them or the RPF in a bad light, hence my voluntary removal of those sentences. I was not asked to remove them, I did it because I agreed that it was a poor example and because of my deep respect for the un-named individual who has given so much to the community.

I have always prided myself on being a man of my word and in maintaining a great reputation here at the RPF. I regret that I let emotions get the best of me in defending my good friend Azman, and for that, I sincerely apologize to you all for it.

I'll stay away from this thread and it's my hope that the issue is resolved to everyone's satisfaction.

Sincerely,

Kevin Christley

No don't. Your input is valuable. You care. I realize it is hard to keep that at arms length but because you do care you have the ability to possibly bring somethings to light that others may miss.

Hopefully this wasn't a "hit and run" accusation. Those don't do much for credibility of the accusation.

Some developments have occured on the 501st legion side of this that may lead to a swift resolution, so if we can shift this into neutral for a couple of days, that would be appreciated.

So, has anything been decided yet on this topic?

I have examples of both of the armors in question, I need to arrange a time when the 501st Captain of the guard can come over and take a look at them with me ( He lives a couple hours away)

The comparisons have been done, the pictures have been posted on the 501st council, where the discussion has been taking place.
I would like to know if the RPF mods had come to any agreement on the status of this for this board, before I make any "Official" statements from the 501st.
I don't think the two groups should have any effect on the others judgements, but it would be interesting to know what ( if any ) decisions the RPF mods had come to.

FYI, during the course of this, MC resigned from the 501st, so regardless of the outcome on the 501st council, there's not much to be done from our end.

RPF MODS:

if you would lke to view the comparison images that were taken over the weekend, please email me - iceman@cryogenesys.com

The final decision came down from the 501st Legion Council and I think it's HIGH TIME Mark publically apologizes to Azman for dragging his good name through the mud both here and on the SG-Command.net forums.

The Council ruled in Azman's favor after conducting an exhaustive investigation of Mark Corey's allegations. Azman is the better man, evidenced by his professionalism in both handling these allegations with class and by providing a wealth of evidence that proved his innocence beyond a doubt. (The 501st) Legion Council considers the matter closed.

So for all of those who jumped on the let's slam Az bandwagon without knowing the true facts and background, it's my hope that you'll think about it next time before you join in the mass bashing of an honest man.

Mods - The offer to show you the evidence (posted above) still stands. I'd expect a full apology to Azman from Mark Corey for his baseless allegations at the very least...
