I used turned aluminum Beta moire bezel and moire pattern as well as aluminum turned T-Jet hubs.
I'm especially proud of the paint job. I used a flat black to simulate old Kydex. I put three coats on, letting them dry a few minuted between coats. Then I came back with a satin clear to protect it, then immediately stood back four feet and made a cloud over spray of the flat black again to dull it. What I got is a flat coating with a clear coat protection that is dry to the touch. New rhinestones as well as bezels too.
Sanded off the plastic and made a aluminum mid plate, and laminated the control panel with a brushed aluminum applique.
Unfortunately I got hit with some bills, so she has to go off to auction. I just wanted to share her with you first.
