The 2nd one. I always wondered why they changed it in the 1st one, especially because at the end of the 1st one, you saw him in the more traditional one for a second.
I hated the 1st one...a lot.

Yeah, the first one was on par with the 'bat-nipple'. 
LOL...great post. Still though, would've liked to see more of it, heard that was the 70's right?
I never understood why when people make movies off of comics they go out of their way to "real" -ify them lol (is that a word?), you know? (i.e. being afraid or concerned with adapting the character to the screen by generall downplaying their costume, etc.)
If so, then why are they making a comic movie in the first place?
Anyways, great thread idea...it has me thinking
