Realistic buzz lightyear

Did you have a pattern for your head gear or did you just wing it?

Its a plastic called Excel (used to be Sentra ) very styreneish (better quallty and ez to heat mold) it doesn't crack and holds paint like a champ . I love the stuff. I am putting on the dome and chest tomorrow.

Where do you find "Excel" plastic and also your polycarbonate dome?
Don't worry I'm not building Buzz but I have another project in mind..

I got my plastic for about $20 for 4'x8' sheet at Advanced plastics. the poly domw was from a store online called Lamp Post Globes etc. LLC was about $60 I was going to use acrylic but that stuff cracks EZ!

This hole build has been winged I measure then cut and so on . its been alot faster and not as pretty as I would have liked but for the most part its alot faster. and I am running out of time .

there already installed (wing bliky lights)! look closely !!! it is an encased led light . looks kinda like a little light saber (LOL)

I have been working a lot on it . I have every thing done sept for the boots . I need to paint a few things tomorrow then put it all together with rivets . should be done by thuerday . . . or so I think .

Back In the ZONE !!! got so much done today . all I have left is paint and put thogether the boots ! alittle detail paint and the LIGHTYEAR placard about 8 to 9 more hours.
