Buzz lightyear cosplay

I am looking to build an accurate buzz light year cosplay from the original Toy Story movies. I want it to have as many working parts as possible but not sure where to start. I want the visor to open and close as well as the wings pop in and out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for it to work just like the original toy.

That is a great idea. Do you have any tips on how I can make the visor open and close as well as the wings popping in and out. I have some idea but open to other ideas.

No, not something I've really thought about. I'd suggest that it you're new to this then moving parts may be ambitious. Manually actuated mechanics may be the simplest option.

For the sliding dome visor, Google and purchase 2 different size acrylic domes and cut them to shape.

As far so the retractable wings, you could look into constructing something using drawer slides, springs and a catch/locking mechanism.
