    Hi Guys
Without giving any spoilers away I'm interested in the long sleeve shirt worn by RDJ in the avengers as pictured below. Any leads or websites would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks Chris

Check walmart bud, I could have sworn I've seen black long sleeve workout shirts with gray trim areas. I honestly can't say if the gray will match but it might be close.

I'd be really interested as well to get an input on the brand of the screen used shirt. Assuming it's a found item and not something made for the movie.

It's possible Under Armour was their starting point. Overdying the white to grey wouldn't affect the rest of the shirt much. I'm sure their costumers have a way of removing the logo.

I've been trying to source this as well, with little luck.

With the fact that he wore a snug fitting Armani shirt under the racing suit in IM2, I don't think a place like Walmart would be carrying this, if it is indeed an off the shelf shirt. So I have been searching all of the high end brands, and not found a thing yet. I think the closest think I've found so far was Addidas, if I remember right, but they did not come in black.

It's all about finding one that has those 2 strips of grey up to the collar bone. That seems to be the most distinctive feature. Narrow that field down and it should hopefully fish it out.

Bodyglove has some stuff that looks really close. I looked on their site when you first made the thread... They have stuff that is thinner than what you think surf wear would be...

Some even with that same gray, near the pattern... But no match.

Surfing, skimming, paddle boarding etc may be it?

Also I agree with Toby and Moo... Walmart... No.

    Armani? Wouldn't doubt it.

I honestly would look at high end name brand watersport stuff. Just my gut feeling.

Yep could very well be from Armani's EA7 line. I'm gonna look into it.

Edit: After closer inspection, I don't think so.

Or at least something that is maybe already last year's style. If it is Armani or similar, it may no longer be listed on their websites.

But yeah, it's Tony Stark, they're going to dress him the part of a billionare. :) It should be something off shelf, it's nothing that special that would require custom tailoring. Only thing they went that far was for his suits, with the special embroidered Tony Stark inside the lapel.

I checked Armani EA7 SS11, AW11, and SS12, nothing that matches though I found a few short sleeves shirt with an approaching pattern. I've got a friend who works for Armani, I sent him the picture to see if he can identify the shirt.

    I'll let you guys know.

yeh id agree Sith they'd dress him like a millionaire so Armani is probably the best start

Good luck JKKS hopefully your friend comes back with a hit :D

Sorry guys but I wasn't that lucky. Apparently the shirt doesn't come from any recent Armani line (when I say recent, I mean in the 10 last collections, so 5 last years).
Maybe something older (but I don't see the point).

I'll keep looking but I think it's pretty safe to take Armani off the list.

Agreed, but if you folks are savvy enough or know someone savvy enough with a sewing machine, this is a relatively inexpensive and cheap piece to create from scratch.

Hey, I've not posted a lot to these forums but i found a Men's activewear shirt at Old Navy on sale for $6. I can't find a link to show it to you. It's still not all the way there but close. There's grey seams on the shoulders that are the only trim. There's a small white logo on the back that could probably be removed or just colored black.

Found something on Amazon somewhat close.

    Search for:
Men’s UA Thermal 2.0 Crew Shirt Tops by Under Armour

    Select the black/aluminum color combo.

Has the seams that go up to the neck. Looks similar from the back as well.

The Men's UA Base™ 4.0 Longsleeve Crew Tops by Under Armour is interesting as well.

Found this one at Target for $19.99. Brand is C9. Not exact but similar. Price was right.

Wearing the arc I made on my 3D printer underneath.

Edit-Used a sharpie to black out the emblem and the shoulder stitching after I took this pic.

That one is pretty close Wamser. You can find several on ebay under:
'Champion C9 Duo Dry Black Gray Training Athletic Base Layer Shirt'

    or on target.com:
    C9 by Champion® Men's Long-Sleeve Training Tee : Target

Still looking for an official shirt though. The more I watch the scene, the more I think it's thermal shirt instead of an athletic polyester or licra though.

Thank you for sharing that pic and link Wamser. I had the itch to find the shirt, and that's the closest one I can find.

Could We not remove the fleece from the inside just where the arc is? I'm sure that's possible ;)

    Agreed.
It was too big. I made a mistake on that by referring to unibeam, not the arc.
    It can be easily fixed.
I also do not have a closer look at the grey pattern, so I just made it up.
