Raygun:From the junk bin

That came out fantastic! Awesome job :thumbsup

Thanks for the insiration :) I did something similar with cuttoffs and bits I had on hand, but it's not a ray gun, and I dont want to spoil (or hijack) such a neat thread with non related stuff.

Maybe a "made from junk bin" show off thread could be started?

I love the design and scrap build. :thumbsup I look at circuit breakers every day and the unmodded sides really bring me out of it. It feels like you need some greeble's on the side to break it up. Like a raised heat sink plate with your circle motif or some knobs.

Hmmmm, Maybe a power adjustment with some settings.... I like it!

I'll see what I have on Monday!

I'm going to add just one more knob, to the side of the circuit breaker. With a few hash marks for settings.

After some test firings, having an adjustable output is desirable. (the first test fire left a hole through almost a mile and a half of forest.)

Would really make a mess of a shot indoors. It would be months of repairs.

Very jealous, this is amazing! Whenever I attempt to make a ray gun out of my junk parts I either end up making more junk parts or a mess.

I think there's a rifle version ala Wolfenstein in my future...

(oh and ear plugs.. my ears rang for an hour after that shot..)
