Rattrap - Beast Wars

[Bio]

This is my first time posting on the RPF. I recently started making a Rattrap Costume. So far I've done some work on the head, chest, back, and shoulder/elbow/knee joints. I may redo the head because I think the face is a little too long.

Thanks for the support guys! Today I started working on the biceps. I got them assembled and test fitted. Next I'll attach the biceps to the shoulders, then try to figure out the elbow/forearms or attach ears to the chest piece.If you have any questions throughout the build, feel free to ask either on here twitter/facebook and I'll be happy to give more detailed information!

Superb job, glad to see some Beast Wars love. interestingly, after looking at some stills (with TM Rattrap) and comparing, you'll probably be pretty close to full scale. Out of curiosity, how do you plan on making the coat/pelt? fur, paint, or something else entirely... hmm. Best of luck, it's looking great so far, and Welcome to the RPF.

Looking good man. I'm actually looking into making a Dinobot suit myself. Interested to see how this build goes.

I'm not positive on how I'll make it look like fur. I've considered scoring the foam with an exacto knife in a hairlike pattern, then using a heat gun to make it more apparent, but I'll need to test it out on some scraps.

Currently I'm redoing the head. Hopefully it will turn out more accurate this time. Sorry for the poor lighting in these pictures.

Didn't have time to make any progress during the holidays, but this week I started working on Rattrap again! I've made some pieces to attach the eblows to the biceps as well as some forearms. Also some test fits. I'm not 100%, but think the current plan is to glue the elbows to the biceps. I'm not sure if there would be a way to attach them so they could rotate
