ranma 1/2 genma costume

hello , i have the plan to make the costume of the panda (genma) of the anime ranma1/2 . I found some panda costume on aliexpress to make the base but i have to modify the head . Do you have any ideas ? perhaps someone made a mascott costume here.? All the suggestions would be great . thanks

I am not familiar with the anime, but looking at your photo I was first reminded of Adam Savage's one day build of Totoro and similarly when he visited Henson's Creature Shop both videos show a great full body build similar to the art you provided. If you have more photos of what you're planning or what you have already, that would also be a great place to start.
