My ISD is just a bit bigger than RC's and I plan to put about 10000 fibers to get the same effect than the 8ft.

I know 50 can sound a huge amount, I thought the same, but it's nothing in fact. You've spent 3 jours to put 300 fibers, and you are very happy, thinking "wow it will be great once lit" then you turn the lights on and you think " What's the hell, looks like 10 poor fibers ! ****, 9700 more to go..."

Try to count all the tiny holes on the 8ft. Each hole is a fiber. You will be surprise to count sometimes more than 20 holes/cm².

To put lighting into perspective, I drilled 10,000 holes into the commercial AMT 9" diameter Death Star, and that was for just the front 75%.
 
Anyhoo,....Back to the RANDY COOPER SD.

I have now contacted all pre-order customers and begun collecting S&H.
Randy expects to be shipping out kits by early next week.

I will probably start taking new orders then. Unless Randy says otherwise.

OK, to clarify, I have contacted those that have paid through me.

If you went directly through Randy, then I have NO paperwork on you. Hopefully, Randy does. You will have to get in touch directly through him, and he is busy. It may take a little longer.

Randy is very busy doing what he does best. That is why I take care of the ordering and keeping track of payments, and "stuff".

If you go around me, then all you do is make more work for Randy, and slow the process down. Thats fine for those that want to work "custom" deals and such, but I dont keep track of his "personal" dealings.

"I" am here on the various boards and can answer questions in a relatively timely fashion. His time is best spent in the shop creating our reasons for being here.

......by "here" I mean on the forums,..not on Earth. :cool
 
I didn't get confirmation either...........I did set up the deal thru you, but can't remember if I paid directly to Randy. In either case, I'm paid in full except for shipping.
