McQuarrie's art and imagination sprung to life off the canvas! What an awesome tribute, DS. A family friend gave me a collection of his glossy prints that were sold as a set back in the early Eighties (?) (sadly, buried/destroyed in the sands of time, the one thing I regret not saving from my childhood), and the X-Wing scene was one of my favorites.

In any event, stunning build, sir. Too bad that isn't a mass-produced kit (along with other McQuarrie prototypes--what a cool line that would be)! I'd buy a couple in a heartbeat.
