special note:

** If you -do- in fact get an Arduino Pro-Mini..

it does -not- have a USB socket on it.. you need to buy a USB > Serial adapter... (around $1.00-2.00 USD)

Or you can buy an Arduino Nano (but is a little bigger than the Pro-Mini.. and for this project... it looks like size DOES count!)

That being said..

you dont even need an Arduino/microcontroller..

you can get a switch, some coin cell batteries... and some resistors/leds..

To make these leds blink or even fade in/out.. should be no problem for you!..

I suggest writing down a feature list of the things you want your PB to do...

we can all help sort out the coding side of things..

hi its been some time still looking for a job but finished two versions of the pumpkin bomb
one is for decoration and the other is for electronics to be installed into it i also finished the stand for it anyone is interested
