Quick question - disassembling a Roman's Obi Emitter (Pic added)

Hey all, I was wondering if someone can help me here. I have one of Roman's previous run Obi's with the cap in the emitter as opposed to the cone. The cap appears to have two screws but I can't see in there all that well. I also haven't been able to find a screwdriver that small. Any suggestions from people who have these as to how to take the emiiter apart?

Thanks

Dan

I don't know if you're referring to his last emmitter (the accurate one), but on that one, I couldn't find a screwdriver that small so I used needlenose pliars to gently screw them in.

I don't think it was the last one but the run previous. Here are some pics of mine. The black cap in the emitter is what I'm talking about.

I can't fit my fingers in there to unscrew it and dont want to scrape up the insides with a tool. Maybe I'm just missing something but I can't figure it out

The emitter looks like it's a Parks not a Roman... but I am no expert... I just love the saber :)

I am sure there will be others who can help you out better than I could.

That is a Roman. (I'm an expert)

You need to seperate the inner and outer sleeve so you can get to the set screws. I believe they are allen head set screws.

Lay the enitter face down on something like a roll of electrical tape, so the emitter face is on the side of the roll (to not marr the metal face) and the inner sleeve and ring of holes are inside the cardboard tube.

Use a soft piece of wood, or a piece of rubber like a rubber door stop, and put it on the inner sleeve and tap the inner sleeve gently with a rubber or plastic mallet. The inner sleeve should come out of the outer sleeve, it is pressure fit. (unless you bought this second hand and it is glued together).

Once out, the allen set screws should be easy to unfasten and the grenade stem (the black thing in the above photo) will slip out.
