I’ve updated my model. It’s not fully accurate but I don’t think it’s too bad for a quick job. I’ll probably print it in resin soon to get a feel for it.

A model of the new Handlink from the 2022 sequel series of Quantum Leap. It is not 100% screen accurate and might be updated but for now it’s just for fun. It might need to be scaled. It’s about 4 inches in diameter which is comfortable in my hand.

It looks like the hexagonal section is a clear piece insert with the red line detailing on the grey surface underneath.

That’s my guess as well. I’m thinking it might be a cast resin piece. I’m wondering if the whole top part is one piece with the center ring and blue dome filled with pigment. It’s a bit hard to tell with only the one detail view of it.
