haha I swear by renissance wax used by museums, caranuba or Briwax, or a good coat of barricade gun oil. Now..... it says not to use it on higher carbon metal, so I'm not sure about the frag body but for the past 2 or 3 years that I've had my current grende it's gone ok

I'll definitely try to take the best care!
These steel parts are so tricky to maintain.

When I received this grenade, the neck was stuck, so I soaked it in Krud Kutter and WD40 for a bit.
Unfortunately, these chemicals removed some of the original finish, and oxidation started forming on the surface.

I'll have to re-do the blue. Other than that, the metal itself is just as mint as my previous one

Too bad the finish was removed....that finish was one of my favorite parts of the grenade.

Seeing quite a few Relby-k23 posts pop up lately, I figured I'd add one more
Here's a rare, cast from screen-used Relby-k23 (Bespin Guard) blaster.
It's the blaster that turned the tide and saved Lando, Chewbacca, and Leia in Bespin!



The original screen-used props were resin casts from a Nemrod Galeon speargun with greeblies added on.
Since this is also a resin cast from an original ESB prop, this is as accurate as it gets with the correct material.



If you have the chance to acquire a Nemrod Galeon, I highly recommend building this prop.
It's one of the coolest looking guns in Star Wars!

You should check Props of SW Original Trilogy FB page! Most of my updates are posted there.
I'm not happy with the current state of RPF, so I decided to focus my updates on that FB group.
I might still update this thread from time to time with more significant items.

Will do, thank you! I found the right model with the swoopy trigger and the air canister just fell off. This is meant to be.
