Punisher WarZone costume piece sources....

A word of warning to strongly avoid Botach Tactical.

They do have the lower prices but their customer service really sucks.
They will immediately charge your card but most times they do not have anything in stock.

A lot of police officers have been put off by their bait and switch tactics.

They also have a super bad rating with the BBB because of the business practices.

They will take your money but won't deliver product for months at a time.
Avoid them at all costs..!!!

tuned in late, but definitely did not know that about botach. Kinda dissapointed as I planned to order from there. Don't know if you guys still need em, but

www.optactical.com is a good site, I know they have safarilands, not sure about www.triadtactical.com, but they're also another good gear site.

I know a bit about gear and guns, so if anyone can get me some solid reference pictures thatd be great.

also, if you want to get some airsoft guns, the best places are overseas
www.uncompany.com, www.wgcshop.com, www.redwolfairsoft.com

Got a lot of guns, and revolvers for you guys to look through. I'll try and do a search for the closest s&w 500.

I wasn't sure if you needed it, but here

http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=TW-PS-M500MR8SV_cat_Tanaka Handguns

That might be as good as you'll get. Sad thing is it's built of ABS plastic.

the pic in the other thread shows hes got the pants pulled down over the boots so we might have some trouble with what kind they are.

The sweater looks like a German Wooly Pully with the sleeve pocket and dyed black. Hope this helps.

interesting...the gun with the flashlight in the movie looked a bit small for a .45

the gun in the right holster in the beginning is a usp .45 compact with a TLR2 flashlight and Laser Attachment
and all the holsters are from safariland 6004 thigh holster models except for the m500 silver im still trying to figure out what holster that is being it has over a 10 inch barrel

place i found all the weapon list is from punch drunk critics they spoke with the armorar(sp) from the film and he listed out all his equipment
below is his statement you can find link at

http://punchdrunkcritics.blogspot.com/2008/11/bad-ass-military-advisor-talks-punisher.html

We used weapons based on need and back-story and nothing made up. All of the Punisher’s weapons currently exist and are being used in modern combat! The Punisher originated out of Vietnam, so his primary weapon in the film is an M-4 which he would feel the most comfortable with. To that I mounted a mini grenade launcher using thermo baric grenades for point detonations. I followed that up with the most powerful revolver on the planet, a Knight’s Armament/Smith&Wesson custom Model 500 .50 cal, in a breakaway leg holster as his back-up!
We created two fully automatic Beretta 92f handguns for close quarter combat.
In the opening of the film he uses ultra reliable H&K custom MP5’s in fully automatic that he carries in the small of his back, and for speed draws a H&K USP compact .45.
I also had a custom mini 13” Bolo machete combat knife created that he carries on a leg holster for hand to hand.
The result was modern weapons used in the modern time, but in full Punisher style!

no mention of the minicrossbow he used, that was probably a custom job. almost got my vest done, not a dead on but a fixed budget version.

thats a good price to thanks for the link.:thumbsup

Yes Wolverine the cross bow is a custom as well as the vest so for me i have a molle combat vest which i found was pretty close to the look i am waiting on fabric to produce the neck armor as for the pants i have a pair of 5.11 combat pants i think they look pretty close to what he wears

the pockets are added on after the fact you can tell by the color difference the pockets are a lighter black from the sweater
