Does anyone have any idea what type of shirt Ray Stevenson's Punisher had on underneath the flak jacket in the movie and for that matter any ideas on the flak jacket itself..maybe a custom job is in order...

I found this as far as the sweater goes (Doesn't look exact but is the closest I've found so far)...and I think I can get it either in wool or acrylic..I'm guessing it was probably wool...I would add sleeve pockets later of course..

Thats look like the Navy Nato "shirt" dont know word for it in engligh.

Its a Nato standard. However i also belive its similar to the UK police.
Note the holes on the chest its for the badge i belive.

Yeah about the holes on the chest I knew that was for a badge, I just figured the Vest would cover it up if I can't find anything better..but I will continue to look around.

I did find a closer sweater in the NATO sweater at www.peterstorm.com The second is from antoher website I forget at the moment but its seems to be along the lines of what I would be looking for but I would need a different pocket put on the sleeve...

anyone know what holsters were used? I know the one on the right leg was for the Smith & Wesson .500 and the left Leg holster and the one on the vest were for the Beretta 9MM 92's. Oh and does anyone know if the Knife was custom?

The Beretta thigh holster seen here:

......could very well be one of these, made by Safariland. That's about the closest I've seen. It's got the same raised Kydex plastic section right under the holster itself and has the correct type of thumb-break to it. It also comes in both right hand and left hand versions, so would match the above picture. (But the picture shows the Glock version, not the Beretta version).

They are some of the more expensive holsters on the market and the cheapest I've found so far has been here at about $100 each:

http://www.botachtactical.com/saf60.html

They are available in both right and left hand versions, and also available for guns with mounted flashlights, but don't order that version since he didn't have them on those Berettas in the movie.

The 6004 model has a straight connect belt loop to holster and the 6005 model has a quick clip between the belt loop and holster.

I'm not positive if these are the right holsters, but with more screencaps I'd be able to research it more. Many other tactical companies make their thigh holsters from the ballistic nylon, but Safariland makes the kydex plastic ones like it seems he might be using.

I think you are right on them being Kydex. He did have a Beretta with a mounted flash light on his right leg actually, at least in some scenes and it was the Smith and Wesson 500 in the later half of the movie though I bet that had to have been a custom holster for that beast! I wonder if you can also get just the holster with out the mount since that is what seemed to be attached to the left side of the vest. Thanks for the link man!

I've only seen the movie once, so didn't realize he had a flashlight mounted pistol in the first half. I plan on seeing it again today, though. ;)

For the massive S&W 500, they do make competition revolver speed holsters that are open at the front like the one he had, but the largest I've seen hold 6" revolver barrels, and it looked like he was using the 8 3/4" barrel version so you're right, it may have been custom made.

Yeah as much as I loved the S&W 500 I will just do the Beretta's ...don't think I could find a airsoft version of the 500 anyway. Yeah i think you are dead on the money on the barrel size from what I have read on that gun.

OK, thanks for the heads-up. I just was looking up cheaper prices for him. Those holsters are typically around $130 on most other sites I saw.

You can find them at tons of places. Just google Safariland 6004 holster and lots of supply places come up. For example, here's one that shows a picture of a Beretta in one holster:

I ordered boots. Paid immediately. Received a confirmation email.

2 weeks go by and I hear nothing. No emails, no calls.

FOR A SOLID WEEK, twice a day, I call to find out about my order. Every time, the phone rings and someone picks up and says "Botach Tactical, please hold," and immediately puts me on hold.

Silence. Every time. I hang up when it reaches 20 minutes. However, I keep trying.

Finally, someone picks up after about 15 minutes... I ask about my order, give the order number and the person on the phone says " I'm very sorry for the delay, these will ship tomorrow! I guarantee it! You will get a tracking number sent tomorrow when they ship."

I say thank you and go about my day.

...

Five days later, I've still heard nothing. No emails, no call, no tracking number.

I try calling, same story. Immediately put on hold before I can get a word in.

Eventually after numerous tries, someone picks up... I give my order number...

This person informs me the these particular boots have been out of stock for a few months, and wont be back in stock for another two months.

I ask for a refund. They refund the money the next day.

I make it a point to let everyone know what a terrible service they provide.

Also, go to Google and look at their seller rating;

POSITIVE REVIEWS (28)
NEUTRAL REVIEWS (2)
NEGATIVE REVIEWS (141)

Steer clear, fellas.

Also, sorry for the rant...

Cool. Yeah, like I said just google those things. There's tons of places selling them.

More info I found:

I read his gloves were Damascus brand Spectra/Kevlar gloves. In this picture, you can see the ragged edges where they used to be full fingered gloves, but he cut the fingers off:

It appears the movie company used this airsoft product, that miniature 'grenade launcher' he had on his M4 during the hotel battle.... http://www.madbullairsoft.com/English/
