Puffy painting spidey suit question

I've started puffy painting my suit, and have read that many people don't like that cause it cracks and peels. So how long does it last? I'm using a zentai, but if it peels why would you do it on a 600 plus dollar suit? Im mainly doing this for halloween but would like to wear it a few more times

Really??the puffy paint suit will be cracks and peels? I only know latex webbing will be aging, the life of the latex is around 5~7 year from what I heard, and I want to know if use “Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paint” to paint the suit, how long does it last?

So what is life of puffy paint. Wearing suit here and there and not doing acrobatics

If you're only going to wear it for a few times I imagine the paint will hold up.

From what I gather the paint cracks after a long time? I could be wrong though.

I'm the same as you I plan to make a suit just for halloween or a few other nights, nothing long term, and I'm looking to mod a zentai suit as well so I'm looking for the cheapest possible way to do it all. I've come up with a few money saving solutions like using a pep face shell instead of one bought in the junkyard cause I dont plan to use it more than a few times, so itll hold up without breaking the bank.

As far as the webbing goes I've come across this build where he uses silicone instead of puff paint, I talked to him and it would actually be cheaper than puff paint cause one bottle of silicone should be able to do the whole suit. It's what I'm planning to do for mine but I'm waiting to see how well his suit holds up, looks good so far.

I'm using a kids toy mask for my shell. You can see the pick with my mask in my album. Also going over the red with a red fabric marker. Suit looks orange red in some light

This mask seems have a face shell in it. maybe can cut out the face shell and use it as universal face shell.

I heard from someone where the tulip paint peeled off after few years.

I guess when u dont wash the fabric before painting it and do not let it dry for 4 days or more it wont last as long as it should.
I let it dry for 1 week (also cause im a weekend comuter )
