This came out hella nice! Did you go with raimi trilogy style lenses by any chance? It almost looks like this is what Spidey 4 would've been if they would've done one. Great job man!

Thanks! The lens were originally Raimi style that I reshaped as much as I could to resemble TASM version. I received my joelai009 frames the day of my party & the curve of those lens were nowhere near the shape of my face shell. It's a shame, because he made a great frame.

Thanks again for all the kind words, It makes all the hard work well worth it!

It seems like a lot of people had the same problem with Joelai's frames. They're great but they do take a little ingenuity to attach. Did you attach your raimi frames permanently or can you still replace them? I'm sure you can mod your shell to fit the Joelai's like so:

You just need to dremel larger eye sockets in your shell so that the frames kind of fit inside the holes on the top portion while resting on top of the shell on the bottom or vice-versa, whatever look your prefer. Hope that helps! Great job again. Love the pic effects. You need to upload more. like way more.

So very pristine~

I'm new to this as awhole, like I just visited NYCC for the first time & I didn't see any Spideys who puffed or puffed so pronounced as yours

Hey El Fett, can you show how the shell actually looks like all dremeled, and how the lenses actually fit in? I'm having trouble picturing that in my mind

Me too. I can't picture the way that the lenses attach "perfectly" to the shell... Any further help is much appreciated :)

Sure guys. Unfortunately I did not take pictures of the eye cavities while I was doing this mod. I should have but I guess I was so busy figuring out how to do it that I forgot to snap some good pics. What I'll do is take pics from the inside out and do my best to explain the method. I'll add this to my thread as soon as I can.

that is quality dude! great job

That is Amazing. :)
Also - I hope I don't offend you - I think it would be even better if the lens are changed to TASM version instead of the Raimi film versions.

You wear it really well! The kid in me says "I love Spidey" and the adult in me says "I also love your floor!" Looks great!!

Awesome! Yes the lenses have too much of a Raimi vibe. Also the asics you have don't look complete, or you didn't want to make the sides blue?
