We all keep folders filled with hundreds of pics of screen used props, but I'm sure we all have ones others may somehow have not seen. It'd be great if we could compile all our resources into one forum, and share our screen grabs, and production photos of screen used props. All the modeling discussion boars have reference pages to studio miniatures, which come in very handy. We should follow suit, so that we can build our replicas as accurate as possible without having to hunt through a bunch of old threads with broken images.
We could divide it into 4 sub categories: Star Wars, Star Trek, Misc Sci-Fi, and Misc Props. Our board members can then choose one of the subs, start a thread called (for instance) "Luke RotJ Lightsaber," and post all his pics of that prop. If other members have some shots that he didn't, they can then post those into that thread, and whatever they'd like to discuss about them. A moderator can than choose to sticky that thread if it's a prop that will get a lot of traffic and inquiries.
