Has anyone ever replicated the Death Star playset cardboard backgrounds?

Here's something I didn't make just cleaned up. Print this out on adhesive backed paper and you have a great sticker.

dirty fingers .. just rub all over it some times with not tooo clean fingers .. real wathering ;)

Try dusting the display shelves with your bare hands. If it looks anything like my shelf area, you should be dusty enough in no time. :)

Guys,

Chris Reiff here... the less heard from Chris of partsofsw.com. I've been watching this thread and there is a ton of great stuff in here. I just thought I would share a little project I have on my plate now. Its not close to finished yet but I'll be sure to throw out a PDF of the finished product as soon as I can. Once finished you'll be able to print it out and fold it up so you to can banish dirt to the land of wind and ghosts.

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Must be one of the coolest props in the thread ;)

tickets.jpg

print it out twice (once on each side) of a piece of textured cardstock (make sure you set your printer to "center" so they line up)...
cut out entire colored rectangle...
fold in half...
punch sides with hole punch (only going halfway across)...
cut in half on fold...
you have 2 tickets..hooray.

for comparison...here's some screen grabs from the ep...

Jackrabbit slim's matchbook. I made this up and all you need to do is print it out on thick glossy photopaper, fold it around real matches and staple it. The striker doesn't work cause it's printed but it's a pretty cool prop.

Looks like this, but better cause the pic is crap:
