Premiere props sucks.....

Lol I'm sorry so many ppl have probs with them. I see it everywhere just google them lol. I will say they send me a nice mailer once in a while. How many of you get those mailers?!!? Lol

I won an item in one of their early auctions in 2012. I was aware of the shipping time, but I did ask them to ship the item earlier if it was possible. I'm located in Sweden, I received my item within 2 weeks after payment and it was packed well.

I contacted them again Friday telling them that their 12 weeks was well past, they replied the next day saying that it was dispatched the day before and gave the tracking number as if all the world is sane.. They may have a major backup for posting and can't keep up, my auction win was a must have and I would only recommend using them for those one-off important items that are worth torturing yourself for.

Im not sure if its true but since you have your CC on file do they charge everyones credit card that day. Has that been your experience everyone?
My last win was charged within a few hrs of the auction.....they were probably done charging the first winners before the last ones even bid.....

I'm new to Premiere Props and have never bought from them before. So I need anyone's advice on this.
From what I've read, it seems that those who bought from Premiere Prop's eBay has little problems. People who got their items from their auction takes 8-10 weeks (or more), which is WAY too slow.

So anyone have any opinions or experiences on buying from their site that is NOT an auction? There are some props they have a fixed price on on their website, and I was wondering if it's worth buying. I don't mind waiting up to say... 2-3 weeks at most, but I am definitely not waiting more than 60 days for an item. Please let me know!

Their response to my message on eBay was:

"Hi,

Items from our website ships out the day the order was placed or by the next day. Orders from our auction can take 8-10 weeks as stated in the terms and conditions. This shipping time is due to the amount of items listed in our auctions as wells as the amount of invoices. Each order is packed individually. Some orders may have one item and some may have more than 10. We ship orders in the order we receive payment.

Thank you,
Premiere Props. "

How true is their claim on the buying-from-website (not auction)?

I can't speak to how well direct sales from the website go, but I have done a couple of direct sales over the phone with Dawn, to finish out our Immortals costume and those transactions have been very smooth and she has been very accommodating to my needs. I would say, if you find something on their site that you want, call them. Talking with them on the phone seems to yield very good results and they have even been working with me under a time constraint (Comic Con) to make sure I have the last few pieces I need for my costume.

Icollector auctions? Horrendous.
eBay? Hit and miss on accuracy, but shipping is pretty quick.
Direct phone sale or in person sales? Pretty Darn good so far!

Thanks! That's good to know. Seems like Premiere Props isn't completely awful. It's just mostly their auctions that tends to have issues, it seems.

Just a follow up. Dawn came through, both on my last eBay auction win and with a phoned in purchase and got them to me in time for Comic Con! So, again, phone orders seem to be pretty flawless.

They have sold A LOT of iffy items. They take consignments from people and also take their word on the authenticity. Yes they used to sell off studio liquidation assets which were authentic but not so much anymore. I have purchased things from them in the past but I don't trust them at all any more.

I assume that you are referring to your "LOTR" dagger.
