Its the same kinda problem when trying to make a soft body armor/skin over a body cast. If your arms are too far up they will look like crap when trying to put them down and possibly tear the shoulder, or if your arms are too low you cant lift your arms very far without tearing the armpit (not always the case with latex but it will still look like crap at times)
I think they went kinda below the ball on the classic, his face wasnt as tan as it was yellow and it just missed that aspect of "what the hell is this thing?!?!?" then finally seeing his face be like "HOLY CRAP!!!"
They missed that aspect in AVP-R and Predators, they showed the face of a predator too early, and just showed a predator too early in common! In the first one we didnt see the pred until awhile after Blain was killed, and then it was only a half second glimpse. In Predators their just like "hey this is the predators face woopdy do" not "hey.... this is a quick look at the predator, here is is again for a sec, and here and BOOM HIS FACE!!!!" And in AVP-R, though hard to see, you see the wolf about 10 minutes in. Which had they built up the suspense, by the time he takes off his bio you would still know he is a bad ass, but also know that "holy crap this guy doesnt look like any of the others, AND he is missing half his face"
Its all about suspense, (which they tried to have when they were in Noland's place and Stans was bashing the door and the Tracker bashed back, that was about it. It was pretty disappointing from the suspense aspect.
Been waiting for a time to nag about that and now I can, lol (I can also say I could make a 10 page essay about JUST THAT fact)
