Predators - Royce Costume

I'm aware! I got my drum as soon as they were released in Japan. I have some pictures to share at long last. These were taken at an airsoft gameday on board a decommissioned Thames Ferry, moored in London England.

that is freaking amazing! just need that camo wrap and your all done! i just purchased a drum mag as they go fast and for when i eventually get the TM aa12. any luck yet with casting a front aluminum block? would you be willing to make another one? im struggling to figure out how to make one. if i can get that done then i will have both an airsoft and con replica aa12.
 
Hey there everyone, new member here with some inquiries if thats ok. I found this forum when i was looking for info on Royce's AA12 configuration (just got my Toyko Marui AA12 a few weeks ago). Since starting to work on that its made me want to do the full costume :) Can i ask where people are getting the shell panels from now? as the link to the 3gungear page always comes up that maintenance is underway. Thank you for your time guys.

Mine were custom made. I would look for someone local to you to have them made.

Hey there, there is nothing like that where i live unfortunately. Any idea's on anyway that maybe makes replicas of them or something that could be modified. I keep finding loads of six and seven shell holders. Eight seems to be an odd number for these to come in
 
Yeh it's not cheap but as the Guinea pig I can tell you it's SOLID. I contacted them like two years ago and was very impressed with their work. The placement of the MOLLE strapping isn't perfect on my rear pouch but it's hidden behind me lol. The panels came without the trim and they took them back added the trim and overnighted them back to me as I had to move to Korea for a year that week.

Thats some good service, John said to me in the email messages if i paid this week they would be in the queue for next week so looking forward to getting them. Should not really be spending money as im in the middle of a generic Jedi costume for the UKG but ive wanted an AA12 ever since i first heard about the actual firearm and being an avid airsofter i had to own the TM version when i could. Might aswell have the Royce-esqe loadout for when im running about at an airsoft game :)
 
Updates! woo woo! finally finished up my costume, took all my gear to work and put them trough the mixer and added grime to everything. love how everything turned out. I worked on the prop machete and TOPS knife from scratch and only looking at photos graciously provided by Fett 4 Real. the only thing i wish turned out better was the coloration of the AA12 after a dirt wash, i was hoping for a yellowish tint. I just picked up a TM AA12 and drum mag and ordered another sheet of camo wrap for it, and now all thats left is to somehow get a front RIS block rail for the airsoft version.
Cyprus008044 you will not be let down on those pouches and shell panels, superb work and really ties this kit together. just a fyi on the drum pouch, it will indeed hold a TM drum but is a pain to insert or take out.

Thats some awesome looking kit right there! Thanks for the info on the drum mag pouch, to be honest i think im just going to use it for bb storage when im at a airsoft game :) Need to try and find some aluminium block cheap enough so i can get a front rail made. Ive got a makeshift rail setup which is very sturdy and airsoft usuable but looks nothing like the Royce setup. i wish TM would hurry up and bring there own rail out! Need to find somwhere that does the vinyl wrap too...
 
Gotta get a haircut taking the old costume out for a spin this weekend at dragoncon.
Might have to go without the shirt it's super hot there.

It was off the belt for a while while I was in Korea...and I put it on at 11 PM...LOL thanks bud.

The Giros are the correct ones. While Art had gotten the other pair I managed to find a different color....I'll post pics of the lot in a bit....I havent posted a pic of the sheath for the machete yet either....
