Well, first they say that they're staying true to Stan's original design, and in the next breath, they mention a "Black Super Predator" on steroids. I liked the bigger AVP Preds, but Predator dogs, falcons, etc? Another girl with a gun (sniper rifle). Too many humans in my opinion, but it could work if they do a good job like the original. The Russian guy sounds like a Jesse Ventura clone. The two enforcers, Mexican and Yakuza sound cool, but I just don't see the need for Super Predators to hunt humans. We'll need more information so it'll make sense. To me, right now, it seems like a mix of good things and not-so-good things. Let's just hope it doesn't get downright terrible. A Bad-Blood would really be awesome, especially if one Super Pred turns on the other two. Just need more information. Maybe the Yakuza guy will survive and get back to Tokyo for a kick-ass Pred tattoo!

From what I read, so far all the human characters seem to be cookie-cutter cliches seen hundreds of times before. Maybe all the more reason not to care about them while they all die one by one. I dunno guys.... I think this premise for the movie sounds really cheesy.

i don't find P1 cheesy. it's an arnie film and some daft one-liners are to be expected etc, but to be fair i think it was a lot more "serious" action film than some of his others.
what's all the references to P3 here? did i miss something or is everyone calling "Predators" P3 for some reason? i'd prefer we just call it by its title TBH, P3 to me refers to all the previosuly touted Predator films.

Arnie's "one-liners" from Predator are classic...CLASSIC!
And yes, when we say P2, we are talking about Predators. Predators is a reboot on Predator, but the more we hear about it, the more it seems like the 3rd installment of Predators. Since AVP and AVPR were all about PReds fighting Aliens...now in the next Predators movie, they are focusing on just the Predators. Should be a good one...
