I think black blood is going to be the least of the differences here. These film makers are taking a much more wild approach to the species, these predators are almost more akin to the differences you see in many reptiles. I really liked where Predator 2 went with adding skin patterns and slight differences in the skull structure, but from what i understand the new movie is going somewhere far out from there. Imagine natural selection altering this species in some extremes, it's going to be a very "wow" moment to see them unmasked i think. Something that is going to shock you in some ways, similar to that moment you first saw the predator's face in the first movie. To do that, they are going to have to go to places we purists are not comfortable with necessarily. And while that can suck, considering how many awesome designs could come from the first two movies and those boundaries and how frustrating it is to see them straying from it, it's not a slap in the face like AVP. There will still be the original predator design there in the movie to ground and preserve the classic design, and as long as they keep that, I am prepared to accept some insane and far out variations. That concept art posted earlier in the thread is more ugly and boring than anything, I don't hate it for the strange massive jaws or bone plated forehead, they could be going a lot farther than that. It's about time we saw some predator vs predator action, and it's a shame to have to differentiate the antagonists so radically, but I am prepared to see some radical alterations and developments, and would strongly advise others to do so if they don't want to hate the movie.
