PREDATORS - MOVIE INFO

wow, MSB pred head absolutely sucks. iPod my ass, looks like they dropped the ipod alot and now it skips.
animatronic eyes suck.
everything else looks super cool. like the skin texture and patterns. the armour and bios look great and the leaness is thumbs up.
can't get over how much they F'ed up the head though.

glad they showed Nolands helmet. but damn im gonna have to get a template to do all that detail.

those shots of some of the new hunters are great... i like how they mixed some old school P1 with some unseen variations of a hunter...

this mother *****er looks like the nastiest of them all.....

Speaking of customizing kithuner, one could just add a lower jaw to a P1 mask and you would have a bio similar to that, or any other bio similar in design.
 
Holy crap - tons more pics got posted when I got home! Here are a few observations:

-the shoulder canon on Mr Black looks like it rotates and has three holes for plasma bursts
-the dreads are not straight, but rather look like they interlock in segments
-the skin pattern, colors and overall design are well done, even though I prefer spots
-Classic Pred and Mr Black Pred have a mesh breathing hole thats well painted and disguised
-thier fingernails are longer, black and more a part of the finger itself
-The inside of Mr Black's Bio has no detailing - just looks like flat black felt
-you can see the hook holding Classic Pred to the "tree"
-Mr Black looks like hes absolutely berserk!!! Looking at those red eyes and his fleshy head - he's bloody fantastic! I don't like the lower mandibles opening horizontally, but I gotta see em in action to get a better idea.
-whats up with they eyes on Mr Plow? They don't look like lenses...
 
The eyes on Mr Plow look like that so the actor can see out of the mask.

You won't notice that during the movie. It won't be uber-bright like in the pics.

These are not movie stills. Well, some may be, but most of them are not. I doubt you'll be seeing any hooks or technical problems like that, bro. I, too, am also not a fan of the horizontal mandibles on BSP.
And sadly, as great as these PS edits of the pictures look, it's too late now :D. But hey, at least we can safely say this movie will be insanely entertaining to watch :lol:.

And it STILL saves the look! Clearly, the absence of a crown is the main problem. Everything else would be fine had they included that in. Still, these'll make some rather sweet figures and merch.
 
Blade, when you added the crown, wow did that make a difference.

Is it me or did anyone else notice that the BSP has three different types of cannons. Also, I didn't see any traditional backpack either--new weapons perhaps?

But one thing for sure is that they don't have human eyes like the AVP's Scar did during the one scene--and so far the masks look like they are better quality too.
 
well no surprise here i'm sure, BUT THIS IS GONNA ****** ROCK!!

every positive and negative thing has basically been said about the new face, so i'm just gonna say :lol:

we new it would be different, not quite so different, but blackie looks like one terrifying sum bitch! the ones that hate it, i'm sorry, i hope you are more impressed by seeing it in action, but i think this will be an incredible chapter in the predator world!!

like lee's example about sharks, it is so, nature does throw ya for a loop once in a while, and i have really no problem excepting this, we still have the original and the new preds just look so badass to begin with, i love the armor and all the things that make them apart from each other, and the bios!!

in one of the pics of falconer you can see the side/back portion of his head and can kinda see that he is a dark green version of black ( i know they're all the same subspecies and all but) it's just cool, too bad we only get to see one of these ugly mother fuckers faces! maybe next time :D

as for now, i could not have come home from work to a more glorious set of pics! thanks to all who rounded them up!! still, knowing now that i wouldn't have had anything to complain about, i wish i would've stayed clear of the face link, to save it for the big day, but that's ok.

sorry about your luck those of you who can't except it , but this is one very pleased and very excited pred fan
 
Here's my photo manip and think it would look more "predatory" if the eyes weren't too far apart and "texturized" the skin details more.

I just think they are bad blood predator species again quoting Lee Shark is a Shark but not every shark is going to look the same as all the others.
 
The photoshopped pred with the traditional crown........... i have 1 huuuuuuuuuuge problem with that.


THEY DIDNT USE IT IN THE FILM !!! adding that to his face would have been peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerfect, it changes him in alot of ways, making instantly a predator, and making him look even more berserk, shame i personally think, but hey, maybe we are seeing crappy camera angles and the sloped head will look better when its moving.


one problem i have with sculpting this for a mask is this, the eyes are ovbiously animatronic ( mistake i think ) as they are, as said spaced to far apart for a human to see out of, this is going to cause trouble if anyone tries to sculpt it accurately, as you will not be able to see out of it then.

anyway, ive just got up early, im about to go drool over all the pics again.
