PREDATORS - MOVIE INFO

i have found some news on the predator three movie it is coming out next year some time in may and is writen by robert rodrigues he says it is going to be a reboot on the series of other pred movies we are hopeing it is a reboot other than remake anyone remember the predator script rodriguez did back in the 90s thats never got made? the one that had dutch scooped up taken to the predator homeworld ? that was also called predators so i wonder how much that script will be in hi reboot i love the idea of the predatores collecting up variouse aliens that have defeated a predator and pitting them against each other for combats sake we cant get dutch cause schearzeneggers to busy being a respectable citizen now and danny glover probably wouldnt work in this aspect but we can have a good starring role for a new baddass.

the question remains.... how much, if any, of rodriguez's previouse scripts will make into this movie, how will he shoot it (real sets or green screen ) and when will it happen... all good questions i have reached out to robert trying to get some answers we'll see if he responds ill let u know !!!!!!!!!!

"In a story from Moviehole, Robert Rodriguez is overtly courting Arnold Schwarzenegger for his Predators movie.

Apparently, the Governor of California is a little busy at the moment so he hasn't responded, yet. The biggest problem with this is that the shoot is coming up soon so Schwarzenegger needs to get in touch with Rodriguez if this is going to happen.

Moviehole's source goes on to say that a role has even been written for Arnold. Rodriguez does not see Predators as a remake but rather a sequel to the original film.

The early rumors have Schwarzenegger coming back as Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer, "the canon-armed Special Forces leader" who battled the original extraterrestrial beast in the first film. Arnold's character will not be the lead in the film but one whose role should take a couple of days to shoot.,

Initially, Schwarzenegger had been asked to come aboard as Dutch for a small role in Stephen Hopkins' Predator 2. This never happened and Gary Busey ended up playing the part.

I heartily agree. Come up with something original and forget Arnold or anyone else that has already had their turn. On the other hand, a sequel with him only in a small part might not be so bad as long as it brings a lot of press, and therefore, a lot of intesest. A little star power is definitely better than none, which is what we've had thus far since the original Predator film. If it's done right, who knows? I'm not an Arnie fan, but P1 was a classic, and maybe he will take this seriously and pull it off. We can only wait and see. Stranger things have happened.
 
I cain't wait more hot toys figures can be made and more collectibles thats one good thing thats gonna come out of this movie!
 
Personally i think its a great idea as a nod to the original , as long as they do not go over board and have the main character as his son or stupidity like that.

The idea of Dutch having a cameo was discussed long long ago on this very forum, makes you wonder if the powers that be do take a interest in our world.

Either way Arnie would bring some STAR power to the film, and hopefully this means they are not just thinking of it as a B movie.

Exactly, can only be a good thing imo and they did say his part would only take a day or two to film, perhaps he will simply be an advisor to whoever has the pleasure of facing a pred next :)
