Funny how a few hrs can change your perspective on things. I took the photos briefly before going to work.
Its now 3am, and ive come home and just looked at them.
GOD IT LOOKS SHIIIIIIIIIIIIITE.
1-forehead is not long enough.
2-eyes are to high compared to top of lip.
3-chin does not stick forward enough.
4-forehead needs a more defining curve at front.
5- i hate P2.
like here is a wish....i wish lee would stop complaining about his P2 sculpt....
it looks fine but i wish he would be happy with it.
never liked punk....more of a metal head myself...punk was created in the UK and wait....aren't you from the.......Nevermind that...enjoy it cause you always struggle with your pieces keeps you wanting to perfect them
Fresh perspectives work wonders eh? lol. I agree with andrew, its not going to look like the perfect pred at this stage. Keep doing it your way. You know we all support ya dude.
Lee if you need any advice crits you know where to find me...I'd say have a day or two break from it and come at it fresh, it's only clay and if you're not happy tear the fecker down and do it again...Personally i think this would make a cracking custom head. It all has the "don't **** wit me" look about it. AS i said a break followed by some serious though adn looking at your reference mate should do the trick.
Mav, excellent, need alot of help with this if possible.
Ive just spent a couple of hrs ripping his face off . ive made his forehead a inch longer/brought the jaw forward/ and will start on the eyes tomorrow.
All in all im alot happier with what it looks like now, even though its only the right side ive worked on, ( mind you ill possibly think it looks like **** again when i come home in the morning lol )
Hopefully i can post some amended pics come friday.
My luvly wife found a bargain turning plate today , for the huge sum of £4. just about to post it in the tools section as its awesome and will help me alot.
Ive not had much will to work on this with night shifts kicking me about.
today i did a hr or so more on him, reshaping the head and repositioning things, I think ive taken 3 steps back and only 1 forward, but i am ALOT happier with the shape now than before, having said that. . . . . . it still needs alot of work.
dimensions wise so far he measures this.
20.5 inch neck.
20 inches from rear of head to chin.
13 inches wide. ( will possibly get alittle narrower when i come to starting the dred holes. )
