It's anohter short ad for the national space centre for their sci fi weekend in November...If you recall I did a small one called "the empire cleans up" that we put out on youtube and it generated some extra punters for them...This is just a thanks to them as they let me run around with my camera and use it as a location...Hoping to get this one done and online for around the end of september beginning of october....

Had a few spare hrs today , so carried on getting the rough shape done, meassures around the 12'5 inches wide, length i have no idea, as ive lost my large tape measure.
I get the feeling his head looks too wide at present, but thats depending on which picture i compare to, so i guess ill just muddle on with the rough shaping and see how it looks when i attatch mandibles.

With night shifts looming i took the chance to try more shaping.

Also did some work on his inner mouth, as itll be hard to do when mandible work starts.

still not enjoying this as i feel its really not right in alot of places, hopefully ill have a moment of clarity in the next few weeks and figure it out.

i havent taken a photo from his left, as i have not done much that side,.. so he looks very lopsided still. im just trying to get the basic pre mandible shape before i worry too much about making him roughly symetrical.

just take your time and get the basic forms blocked in and nice and symetrical and then you can enjoy playing around with textures and details
