my guess is that's just neca's sloppy paintjobs. my P1's legs were practicaly unpainted, with missing yellow wash and almost no brown patttern...

Just got my Shaman in from Jehdin's contest, a very wonderful thing for him to do and a big thanks again!!!
These things are amazing, I haven't been excited about something like this since McFarlane's reign at the top. They're on a whole different level in person, the sculpts are excellent, I can only imagine how great the masked P2 is in person. Glad to have my favorite Lost Hunter, he looks great, it was tons of fun posing him, definitely pick these up!!! The paint concerned me a little when seeing the pictures, but when you have them in hand, it's not bad at all.
I still have a problem with Boar's naked butt cheeks, because it's so goofy looking, but I'm more inclined to pick him up now after getting the Shaman and seeing it up close.

NECA has posted that MTV Geek's Top Ten Best Toys of 2011! has posted on their site PREDATOR as #5 for the year.
This thing scores our middle spot for being creepily realistic. This predator is just big enough that if it attacked us while sleeping (or awake, we're wimps) it would have our skulls as trophies in no time! Not only is the stripper-esque fishnet body stocking mad eof actual cloth, but the airbrushed paintwork is truly a sight to behold. NECA has been progressively getting better and better with each action figure release, but paintwork is always a complaint-- not on this alien hunter! The larger size allows for NECA's top-notch sculpting to shine through and makes this affordable large-scale figure look more akin to the high-dollar Premium Format Statues from Sideshow Collectibles. What sets it apart from those statues though is the addition of action figure articulation. Yes, you can pose up this Predator stalking your cat or leering menacingly from your mantle... but don't put him in your bedroom. No one needs to wake up to that nightmare staring at them in the face.

I hate Mtv...but find it funny how geeky sci-fi/action/suspense/horror figures of film and made of plastic is where it's at these days. So much so it's on a station born for music yet died for the **** phenomenon known as "reality television".

Yeah I agree back in the 80's MTV was where it's at Daytona Florida for Spring Break (very upset that they moved it to Cancun, Mexico) I used to live in Florida I was so looking forward to that when I was a kid to go there and have fun when I was going to attend high school. Anyway back on subject I'm glad that PREDATOR toys are back in high demand and popularity since the Kenner and McFarlane figures.

found my two packs at TRU today, but heres a heads up guys... look closely at the ones you are buying because the spear tips on the full size spear were broken in half on half of Toys R Us' sets.

I agree, although I can't get the smelly Berserker to stand on his own. It would be great if NECA would go back and do the Classic, "alleged" Super Preds, Elder, and Wolf in the same style as the Lost Clan
.....but I'm happy as a clam with the quality of these newest figures.

It would be really cool, but NECA only redo their figures when a new movie come out (like Harry Potter, Twilight or Pirates of the Caribbean) or a new game (Marcus Phoenix from Gears of War has several versions, each one with more articulation than other)... unfortunately, no Predator new movie will come out to justify a new figure from P1, Elder, Wolf and the super-predators

Definitely agree with you, and to add on, I really liked the 2 pack, at least the P2 anyway...but the reason I liked it so much is because it's a complete package. What I mean by that is, you got the extra hand, you got the combi-stick in two versions, the smart disc and the skull prop, THAT is a complete presentation, I would pay 20 bucks per item for that. Nothing sucks more than to get something amazing and then half the impact be softened by a lack of additional items. The ONE additional hand alone adds so much more to the presentation and the display. ...anyway, great job NECA. Excellent work on these.

I agree with everything. I thought they would have gone with the Elder's hand for holding the spear... but, they gave him the Gort hand, and the only thing that I dont like is the gloves on the hands dont match, but yes, it is a nice complete set.
