PREDATOR/PREDATOR 2 Action Figures from NECA

The paint job on the masked version I believe is better imo only because most of his body is hidden by armor. The unmasked version is more of a hit and miss when it comes to his paint job. The two pack is $34.99 MSRP I bought two of them, so it came out to be $76.31 in my neck of the woods anyway.

Here is my re done Predator. I made this second one, not as good as Joes, obviously, hes the master, but this one was done to work with Neca's paint job.

Its not perfect, but, pretty good i think. So hard to paint something that small.

Look what I got myself today! I hadn't even looked at this thread recently and went to my local action figure shop (it sells all the Pred toys) and they had this two-pack + all the others including the Unmasked City Hunter, Boar Predator and Shaman Predator.

I will be picking up the other 6 or so I'm missing over time. TBH I can't prioritise money on these over my suit or Narin kits as both are higher priority to me, but this two pack certainly couldn't be left on the shelf.

that is a really nice job on the repaint there cyclone!

now, as i said before, got a set of series 4 online comin already, finally got to go to TRU today in hopes of a two pack.... and of course there WASN'T ANY!!! but there in the next isle over ( in with the pirates and "real steel" robots? is that the name of that movie?) anyway, in with all that ****, nowhere near the neca section was a nice little row of series 4 (and one hound) i have a tendency to look at which ones have the best paint job, no errors etc. like i'm sure we all do given the choice, and well i saw something kinda disturbing. among the six figs that were all pretty descent, there was one city hunter that, get this,

HAD NO INNER TEETH! TOP OR BOTTOM! AND UPON FURTHER INSPECTION REALIZED THAT HE HAD TWO ******* RIGHT HANDS!! WTF!!!

neca, i love you guys and i am sorry but, i'm beginning to think that there is at least one extremely bad apple in your bunch and they need to find a new job! perhaps disgruntled? i dunno, cause this was blatant, and unacceptable. ( i smell sabotage) anyway, be on the look out boys and girls, it almost looked deliberate, some sick joke, but ya anyway, i got 3 good ones and am about to open them, YAY.

i'll probably have to do my own city hunter repaint, but the good ones are actually pretty well done for the most part.

I really, REALLY hope my friends can pull through for me. It sucks living in a community where the only stores that have anything, figure wise, carry nothing that interests me or appeases to my taste. I need to open a frikkin' Toys R Us here... "I wonder how I would go about that without having to take a couple years of business classes?".

Thanks for the compliments on the paint job. I still havent found the 2 pack yet at my store either. I check almost every day. I kinda don't want the Berzerker, but hey, its all good.

I was looking at my masked city hunter from the two pack and noticed that his hand to hold his spear is the same left hand from the comic con gort. He's wearing the same glove on just repainted.

My guess is that its the same hand they gave the Elder and Shaman too... and ya know what else I noticed... if you look at the reference pics, Elder is painted all wrong on Necas version. And... he has the wrong feet. He has the p1 feet when in the photo of all the costumes on the manikans (sp) he has the feet from the p2 style suits.

Guess what,i found there was a some variant paint on the shaman's skirt.
