PREDATOR/PREDATOR 2 Action Figures from NECA

I will try to get some pics posted this evening after work. Didn't have time last night. As I looked at them last night in their packaging, I got to liking them more and more. Particularly like the Hippie's dreads in the back (some are tied together in a pony-tail). Wish the Boar and City Hunter had more weapons with them. They just came with the discs from what I saw.

Cool. I'd love to hear what you think of the joints as well. I really want to get the Hippie being he's my favorite, but I'm a bit wary about the joints on these items considering all the negative feedback regarding the Elder's joints. I read a few posts earlier about the joints being OK for this series, but I'll wait to hear back on what you think, assuming you're opening them.

Regarding the talk about HT releasing more Lost Hunters, that would be great. I'd certainly get the Hippie. I was going to snag the Classic from the Predators line, but I was disappointed with the final product. It's too bad the Gort was released with the old style body, what a waste of one of the cooler Lost Hunters.

That's not Gort from the Lost Hunters. It's just P1 with Gort mask.

The real Gort (Guardian) from the Lost Hunters will be release in 2012 with the new articulation and the real armor from P2 movie.

I have officially lost all respect for this company.I'll get the preds and Assassins Creed and I give all great credit to the sculptors.But my respect is lost.I have more respect for Jazwares now because at least they have gotten 10 times better with the Mortal Kombat line,I get customer service ON THE PHONE,and they go all the way to have fans happy with the products,by that i mean they take requests for new figures and figure features and don't complain about it.Plus from them if they have variants of different characters(classic ninjas/cyber ninjas) they release them in a set instead of releasing them over and over again.Dammit I really hate to lose respect for Neca,I really do.But damn!They really dropped the ball with me.

Am I missing something here? If you look back at the post, I was referring to HT products, not NECA. See attached pic, if that's not Gort Predator aka 'Guardian' Predator, then this is a very misleading advertisement.

On the other hand, if HT is indeed making a new 'Gort' with the new style body, then I'm all for it.

Jazwares? Really? I saw these MK figures in the store, but they look like toys for kids. Dont like them at all

The Neca figures are the only ones i'm still buying. Predators, videogame figures and other movie related! Yes, I have a few complains (mostly paintjobs and some broken knees here and there) but i love them all

Hah, no problem. I assumed as such, but then I got confused about whether or not HT was actually going to do a new body release of Gort/Guardian, I wish they would. When I was looking at the pic you posted, I couldn't tell if they were HT or NECA, but I remembered that HT did a Borg Predator with the old style body as well, and then decided I was looking at the NECA items. Really though, the one I want from HT is Hippie, that would be great. I'll probably get the NECA version too, assuming the joints are good.

The NECA 'Gort' mask P1 however, I totally skipped on. I wish they included the extra hand and skull accessory for the original P1 release, but it's not worth it to me to buy the extra Gort on the P1 body for those two accessories. Plus, the fact that P1 with a Gort mask doesn't exist in canon makes it less appealing to me.

I have been hunting them hard here, I go to my Toys R Us every day... today I told one of the managers that they are already online for sale, and already in areas around us, so she got an item number and actually checked the store inventory on the computer and it said O.OO lol she did say to check again soon theres another truck coming in.

Now imagine if you will, all these bad boys in 1:6 or 1:4!!!! Hot Toys who? I just received one of 3 neca preds today got my classic helmeted which actually looked better than I expected from seeing photos. Yes it could use better paint apps, but is still badass. Waitin on my shaman and boar to come in later this week!

Nice! Mine will most likely be a lit backdrop with orange or red bulbs shining through a semi transluscent back drop molded to resemble the different mayan influenced architecture.

Check out this review, he goes over all three of them and not just bare ass boar. Mostly for P-face but he also talks about the other two and also his review entertained me well. I laughed so good, on the inside.

Funny stuff. One of the better toy reviews I've seen, believe it or not. lol It really looks as if they've gone out of their way to fix the joints. That's two reviews that seem to be right out of the package and completely moveable. Thanks to that i just ordered me a set and they should be here in about a week.
