Since I have about 2/3 of these kits already, I might be offering castings of the found parts ... something of an "accurzier" kit... unless you are just wanting the original pieces yourself.

For sure. I would just do a single run of a set number of the parts (basically in order to cover the cost of the kits) and when they were all sold, that would be it. I am not interested in getting into the Predator business, but these kits are adding up!!!

That sounds like something I might be interested in depending if more parts would become available.
I am working on picking up every model as we ID it. Some are a little harder to get. I don't know if we will positively ID every single part, but once I feel we have pretty much exhausted every resource we have, I am going to look into casting up all the pieces we have found and offer a few sets... I am thinking like 10 or so... basically, whatever it takes for me to break even on buying the models.. and that will be it. Already talking to someone who does pressure pot castings, so we will see how it goes.
Some of the Japanese Robot kits are very rare and very expensive... but I am slowly picking them up... one by one. Like I said, it is going to take a bit of time, but I'll be glad to put together an accurizer kit once I feel that I have all of the parts I can reasonably obtain.
I have been holding off on the bomb gauntlet, but yes, ultimately I would like to look at that as well. I took some HD caps of the inside of the gauntlet, and I have to tell you... it is going to be an uphill battle. There are what appear to be some 1/35 fuel cans, but aside from those, the parts are so small, that even on Blu-Ray, I think it is going to be incredibly difficult to ID. I do think the top of the gauntlet holds a lot of promise and those pieces should be easy to ID. If you want to start a new thread on that, feel free, but personally, I would like to hold off, until we have these other two closer to completion.
So can anyone tell me the story of what happened here? How the heck did what one would assume is a simple servo controlled piece of plastic explode in such a manner? Servos don't just go BOOM! Did they have lithium batteries in there which shorted out (That doesn't make sense, because why would you stick the batteries in the cannon?) or were they trying to do some pyrotechnics thing?

They had actual pyrotechnics shoot out an actual blast of fire and sparks to imitate the canon shooting. None of that CGI - just good old gunpower haha! Something went wrong and it blew up. They had to resculpt the canon from the bits remaining and wing it to bring it back to life...

Well the other thing based on the video that is in the 25th Anniversary thread they talk more about it where the canon had six canisters of a special firing mechanism established inside and on a test of the firing rounds instead of one going off all six went off instead and pretty blew the canon all to hell.

Well i think this seals the fate of my Falcon kit that is lying in pieces in storage,.....

Now i just need to build a cannon, won't be accurite but it will be in the same vein as the orinial with original sourced parts (aka Falcon model)

Thought you guys might enjoy this photo... it represents about $400 worth of models... YIKES! Never realized this was going to get so expensive. I have three more kits to get before I am calling it quits. I wasn't able to ID every part, but we did ID the vast majority of them, and I think they will be a great accuraizer kit for anyone with a backpack or cannon. I am thinking we will ultimately make 10 copies of the parts... but we will see.
