Hi all: I want to build a portal gun for my brother for Halloween, and I have NO idea where to start. I don't have a lot of money for PVC piping and wood, nor do I have a workshop with a jig saw or anything complicated like that. (I've seen a ton of tutorials on how to use mesh grating and wood, but they are too expensive and I would need power tools.) Does anyone have templates for some foam I could cut? (no Pepakura .pdo files, please!) I'd like to build one for under $20. I'd be grateful if you could even point me in the right direction!! Thanks for your help. Hope to hear from you soon!
