So seeing as I haven't built anything to impressive for myself to wear to cons I have started on a fallout 4 costume. I started with this kit that I got off etsy, not the greatest of prints as I had some delamination after the main body was glued together.
So here's the kit as it was out of the box with the main bodies test fitted together, nothing glued.

Started gluing things together here.

I saw some separation between layers only after sanding it down a lot and using filler primer to get the 3d print lines out and apoxie sculpt to fill in the gaps, I got worried as they seemed to line up with the hinges and I didn't want the stress of wearing it in the crowds of dragoncon to break and fall off my wrist. So I fiberglass resined it to hold together. This explains the greenish color

So after getting the surface to where I wanted it, it was time for paint. I went with Montana Gold Reed green for a base to work off of. I also blacked out some areas with a normal gloss black, added some silver to a few places and added real hardware to make it pop.

Now I am waiting on some LED lenses because I hate the 3d printed ones that came with the kit and some paint from Sculpt Nouveau for a rust effect that should work great for making this pip boy look like it was out in the wasteland. As soon as I get those in I will post more.
