Thats one bad ass micro-legion! good job. The question is, does he know who Gi Joe and Cobra are??
My son is "Old School", his favorite movies are Star Wars (original trilogy), the original Transformers cartoon movie, Indiana Jones, and a lot of other old cartoons (GI Joe, He-Man, etc).
He has watched the old GI Joe cartoons and the newer CGI-type movies as well as the Sigma 6 cartoon. He is currently in a ninja-phase and always talks about Snake-Eyes, Stormshadow, and Kamakura.
I attached some pics of his birthday party last week (GI-Joe themed).
A lot of people accuse me of brainwashing him on Star Wars; however, he fell in love with it before I could. At 2 years old, he was able to name a lot of characters including obscure ones such as Bossk and Dengar. Instead of fairy tales, he wanted me to read out of the Star Wars Visual Dictionary. At 3 yrs old, he was able to distinguish that Jango was Boba's dad, that there was an old Obiwan and a young Obiwan, that Anakin is also Vader, and he constantly corrected people about the differences between stormtroopers/scout troopers/clonetroopers/tie pilots/etc. I used to amaze friends when they came over by quizzing him about lightsaber colors, "name the bounty hunters", or I point out characters in the visual dictionary and he would name them and give information about them.
I really knew he was a SW geek when we were at Celebration in LA and he saw the Wampa and yelled to me, "Dad, it's a Wampa monster!"......I have no idea how he even knew it was called a Wampa!?!?
