Phantom Menace Review...Everything you were thinking and more!

I'd like to see a review for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. :lol
X2

OK, the voice is a bit irritating and the serial killer references are creepy:confused.
Other than that pure GENIUS!!(y)thumbsup

He clearly has some issues with TPM. I think some of his comparisons of TPM to the OT is unfare though considering those characters had 3 movies to flesh out who they were but TPM is only one movie.

Wow! Perfect. He explained it all perfectly.

What I love is the footage of Lucas and company after having viewed the film. You can tell they know it's bad, really, really bad.

No, we didn't need to have him explain it. We saw it and knew it was crap. This guy just gave a great review that explains it all in a great way.

Sat through all of these today...creepily watchable considering what they are. Can't help thinking this is Charlie Brooker in disguise.

The review made perfect sense. Does not diminish my enjoyment of ALL SIX Star Wars movies though. Like someone else said...you had 3 movies to flesh out characters like Han, or Luke. Come on...Luke was a whiny B.... in ANH.

Two big (y)thumbsup to this guys review!

The sad part is that he makes several comparisons to George Lucas's genius in EPIV-VI, and then gradually explains his fall from grace.

Just watched all seven. Brilliant. I always hated this movie for several reasons, some of which I couldn't put into words, but just knew it was a horrible, horrible movie...this gent did it perfectly.

He does mention that the opening to A New Hope so awesomely summed up the disparate power balance between the Rebels and the Empire in the fly over in a simple manner that told you all you needed to know, it probably wasn't Lucas' idea.

It probably was Lucas' idea... Marcia Lucas.

I just saw his dissection of "Star Trek Nemesis"... brilliant! :lol

This guy's insights are as delicious as the pizza rolls that fuel them. :sleep

VIVA PIZZA ROLLS!!! :cool

PS this guy is gonna turn out to be Wil Wheaton, isn't he. :lol

My money's on Gary Kurtz. :lol

Simply brilliant. Very entertaining as well as being very intelligent beneath the 'psyco persona.' I love the editing of the Watto / Qui-gon wager section.

If this guy teaches a scriptwriting class, count me in. Loved the part where young Lucas is talking about how the story is what makes the film and not the special effects.
