Pegasus getting Terminator license

Lots of chrome joy, nothing major to report. The flying HK isn't as mirror finish as the tank, it's has rougher look.
Both are a darkish chrome, not briight chrome like a car. Will be a while before I build up, have an X-Wing I abandoned
a few years ago I need to finish first, for sure they need lighting.

It's hard to tell from the pics but it looks identical to the plastic kit as far as molding frame goes. Just by looking at it do you reckon removing the pieces will leave a notable/visible mark on the chrome finish?

I"ll take a look when I get home tonight. They would have had to pre-plan for that kind of thing. The prepainted Bandai Star Trek ships were molded to the sprue with that in mind to not damage the painted surfaces when you cut them free. I would expect to have to touch up areas, or perhaps at some weathering strategically.
Maybe a little bare metel foil might go a long ways too.

Well it looks like most of the parts should be able to be cut free without too much damage to the plating, some are better than others.
Something to take time and care on to be sure and have the right tool.
