Re: T-Rex bell.

I thought I'd share these two awesome bells that I picked up today at a little bike shop here in town.

Exhibit B:

Ten bucks each.
The bottom of the bell is stamped 'Made In 04 Germany' and the black plastic thumb button has 'REICH' cast into the top edge.

The image isn't 'correct', but they seem more Pee-Wee in spirit to me than Mickey Mouse kicking a soccer ball...

BELL REICH DINOSAUR (91992) | eBay

Found a 3rd version on eBay. I really may consider a bell swap...

the Dinosaur bells are all really cool. the vertigo spinner swirlies are basically a 8" sheetmetal disc with a center hole to clear the axle. painted red and then the spinner applied. mine are painted on but a vinyl decal would be easier.

Thats what I'm doing. Getting a vinyl decal made.

Skirts are done, I don't have images ready yet, picking them up on Friday. It costed a bit more than anticipated but they are really close to screen used. Ed helped a lot. He welded the braces on really nicely done.
Spinner plates are ready also, it sounds like slurge is getting a quote on vinyl stickers. I have done a set here, note these were all painted like the real ones, I would highly recommend the vinyl route.

Anyone who PM'd me about skirts or spinners please PM again.
Abe

splurge you should see what a run of them would cost. i would be interested in a set.

Is there a design everyone is happy with? I have a psd of the one I was working on, but I need to smooth it out a bit more. I worked off of one of the pics from the museum.

I made my spinners out of thick flexible plastic sheets, have any left of the metal ones?

I'll probably end up selling the spinners apart from the skirts (some people may not need them or made their own already). I need to figure out the final cost, will post it on the junkyard if I end up with extras. I basically I ordered enough for those who PM'd me about wanting a set and I fronted the money myself, so if you don't PM about it, or I don't get back to you then they'll go up for sale.

Also shipping will be separately figured out.

Do you guys want it to be a perfect spiral like the attached or a something that looks more Burton-ish? I have this book and can scan a high res of this.
