Large left hand round mirror with reflector
The mudflap
I'd be willing to trade or pay. Please PM me

how do you post pictures? I have picked up a bike frame and wanted to post a picture to get your comments if it's the right frame for a PW bike.

when you post a reply, if your doing a quick reply- hit the "Go Advanced" button next to it.

right under the title you'll see a happy face and paper clip, hit the paper clip to attach an image, then you'll prompted to find the picture on your computer and upload it.

"how do you post pictures?"

I post photos via Photobucket. It's a free website where you can store pictures. Go to their site, create a free account, upload your bike photo and then you can copy the HTML link and paste it on a post here. It took me a few tries to figure it out, but you'll get the hang of it quickly.

Just saw Abe's post above. His method is probably quicker and easier.

The ones on the screen used bicycles were just thin metal discs, about .030" spray painted red. The white spiral is white adheisive vinyl. They are attached to the spokes using thin wire fed through small holes in the disc.

Nice Ed, you changed you username!

Top container progress: Here is the buck that I will be using to create a fiberglass mold. It's made of several layers of pink insulation foam board that were glued together, cut and shaped. Since Bondo eats through foam, I covered it with a layer of drywall compound and sanded it smooth. After that, I brushed on a layer of glossy paint that I had leftover from a boat restoration project I did a couple years ago. This paint is self-leveling, so the brush marks pretty much disappeared. Next step is to give it several coats of car wax and a coat of release wax then it will be covered in three layers of fiberglass and the mold will be made. The second photo shows it with the compartment door. I still need to finish that. I'll probably make a silicone mold of it and then make a rotocast with white resin.

What did you guys use for back wheel? After days of searching and calling every LBS I know, I don't think 26x2.125 3 speed wheels exist without having one custom built.

Hah!.. That chicken scratch is awesome... I love it... Great progress on that rear bag Jack! Love to see pics of peoples builds...

Peruna,
You can get 3 speed rear wheels, that is if you want gears.
Options
Sturmey Archer or Bendix vintage wheels on S2 rims or look for the a newer Nexus 3 internal 3 speed on a 2.125" wide rim. I'm going to just lace a correct CMC rim to a Monark/Whizzer HD hub with heavy spokes.

I think the 3 speed shifter was for the gadgets not the actual rear wheel, but if you want the gear it works out, thought do note the it is better to have a larger front sprocket than the schwinn clover for better gearing.

We actually have a DX cruiser setup with an s2/nexus and that from clover and the gearing is so-so, not like brand new cruisers.

Oh, and you can pretty much adapt that Shimano shifter to any rear.

Eh, after looking into it some more today, I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna go with a single speed. I can always have the shifter on there for looks though. Thanks for all the input though.

You can use the shifter to actuate a switch in the bags to get the rear lights and headlight to go on or something super spy like that.

The shifter was actually supposed to make the red bag lights/rockets to pull out and shoot smoke. Then your supposed to fly over the house to get away from the movie lot police.

Yeah, yeah I just saw the movie at the theater last night, got me more psyched to get this done!

Make sure when land your bike, there is a small bunch of little BMX riders,, one of them will say "Radical".....
